All Corian^® Quartz colors are GreenGuard^® Indoor Air Quality Certified for low VOC emissions and have proven to be extremely safe as surfacing materials, with minimal impact on indoor air quality.

In addition, these nonporous surfaces, when properly cleaned, do not promote the growth of mold and mildew, making them ideal choices for homes, healthcare and food preparation facilities, schools, and offices. Durable, Renewable

Thanks to its inherent stain resistance, Corian^® Quartz lasts a long time. It can easily be repaired and renewed, thus minimising the desire or need to replace and dispose of it. However, should you want to redesign, Corian^® Quartz can be removed, re-cut and either reinstalled or reworked into new products.

Sustainability, Technically Speaking

All Corian^® Quartz surfaces may help contribute toward U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED^® points in the following categories: Materials and Resources (MR) Building Reuse, MR Materials Reuse, MR Regional Materials, Environmental Quality (EQ) Low-Emitting Materials – Adhesives and Sealants. 

Corian^® Quartz surfaces (the whole range or specific types) have received important independent certification for their environmental performance (such as GreenGuard^®, NAHB North American Builders Association, Scientific Certification Systems). Their hygienic performance has also been certified by prestigious independent institutions (for example, by NSF International, The Royal Institute of Public Health and LGA QualiTest).

Corian^® Quartz is NSF/ANSI Standard 51 Certified for food contact, the highest level, for all food types in commercial food preparation.

Zodiaq^® Terra Collection

At Corian^® Design, we’re committed to creating sustainable solutions. Corian^® Quartz Terra Collection is the same sophisticated quartz surface as ever, but now its composition includes a percentage of post-consumer- recycled content. (Post-consumer content percentages vary by color.)

The Corian^® Quartz Terra Collection received the coveted Green Approved Product Seal for National Green Building Certification by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center. Now, builders who use these “Green Approved” Corian^® Design products can earn points toward certification to the National Green Building Standard^™.
